"Hold on! What does donating to the ThreeSixtyFive Foundation mean? Where does it go? How is it used?" Good question, here is your answer...FAQ

Jeremy Bigelow

Recipient

On Sunday Oct 3, 2010 Jeremy and 4 others were driving in the rain on a country road near their home in Columbus, Ohio. Around a bend he lost control and the car went airborne, stopped by a telephone pole. After the car came to rest upside down, Jeremy recalls "telling" his hand to open the door, but it wouldn't. He was transported to OSU Medical Center in Columbus with a serious spine injury that left him without feeling below his chest.

At the time of the accident, Jeremy was in his second season as Head Coach with the Dublin Jerome JV White hockey program. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Jeremy is a graduate of Sylvania Northview High School where he played 4 years of Varsity Hockey and Football. He continued his athletic career at Wittenberg University, where he played Football and Club Hockey while earning a degree in Business Management in 2006. Jeremy is a Dental Sales Specialist for Heraeus-Kulzer.

Time to Catch Up

So it's been a while, and we need to catch up. Since the last time I posted, I have ditched the trach, had an unbelievable Biggie Classic Golf Outing, and will be finally going home in 9 days!

First, getting the trach out was a crazy experience! After having it for over 8 months it was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. The stoma that was left from removing the trach, closed up within 2 days, which you can imagine left a huge scar that is healing up well.

The Golf Outing was more than I could ever imagine! It was a beautiful day and not one cancellation in any of the teams! Unheard of! Also, I was able to be strapped into a golf cart by my best dudes in order to check out all the activity going on around the course. Priceless! It was great to see all of my family and friends out to support Team Bigelow.

Lastly, I can't explain how excited I am to finally go home! My dad has been slaving on the new house for the past month in order to make my transition home that much smoother. He is an unbelievable man that has made so much possible for me and has helped me immensely in my healing! But not to pass up the rest of my family and Team Bigelow fans!

Thank you all for keeping me going in all the hard and good times!

Yours Truly,
Jeremy

What the Foundation is doing

Jeremy's injuries have required a lengthy and intense rehabilitation schedule. This being the case, we have committed to Jeremy that, when he is ready, we will be there to help with his adaptive equipment needs. We are leaving that time frame up to Jeremy and his family. In the meantime, we continue to stay in contact with Team Bigelow and assist them whenever possible through fundraising efforts and events.
