The Fraternal Order of Eagles Donates $6,000
The Fraternal Order of Eagles offers grants and donations to nonprofit charities and organizations through a number of funds and for a number of causes. One of these causes is the Lew Reed Spinal Cord Injury Fund. Grants awarded, under this fund, on a state by state basis are given out each year to organizations who support spinal cord research, treatment or rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries.
Through some friends of the Foundation in the FOE chapter in Butler, IN, the ThreeSixtyFive Foundation applied for and was awarded a grant of $5,000 from the State of Indiana FOE. In addition, the Butler Chapter graciously voted to match the state grant up to $1,000.
On November, 19th Chris Bentlage and Greg Hazard were invited to the Chapter hall in Butler, IN to accept the donations from the local chapter and on behalf of the state secretary for the Indiana FOE.
This generous gift will allow the Foundation to provide its upcoming Recipient with a number of items that will profoundly impact their rehabilitation and journey back to an active life.
